Done with Luna  and Lourdes

As the quarterly of Drama, we did a short film about a deaf girl, called Rose. She meets a Peter, a very nice boy who helps her to stop isolating from the world. Its main genres are love and isolation. We choose to make a "Theatre in education" type of play and the drama elements that we include according to that type of play were: A clear aim and educational objective Multi-rolling Simple and representational costumes, especially for the actors who have to multi-role Facts to educate the audience A strong message Breaking the fourth wall by asking live questions at the end of the play like: What more could the teachers do to help Rose?  How could the girl in the café ask the chair kinder? How did Peter’s kindness change Rose? What do you think about how the biker treated her? By Ignacio Galup , Felipe Cersosimo , Florencia Ginocchio and Mayra Schliemann (me).

A continuación se encuentran todos los trabajos hechos durante el año en la materia Educación Artística:

Estuvimos trabajando con la poesía. Esta se destaca por el uso de metáforas, metonimias, antítesis y personificaciones, y por el trabajo con el lenguaje, es decir que el escritor se preocupa especialmente por la relación entre los significados y sonidos de las palabras. Los procedimientos poéticos de la poesía son: la métrica (cantidad de sílabas por verso y de versos en el poema) la rima (semejanza o igualdad de los sonidos finales de cada verso) el ritmo (musicalidad) En el siglo XIX, se comenzaron a escribir los versos libres. Estos versos no respetban las combinaciones impuestas por la métrica y la rima. En consecuencia, se le empezó a dar más importancia a los estados de ánimos transmitidos, puntos de vista del yo lírico y la relación con el espacio en blanco de la página.  En este trimestre estuvimos trabajando con la novela Fahrenheit 451 de Ray Bradbury, escrito en el año 1953 . Esta novela de ciencia ficcion plantea una sociedad futurista. El personaje principal de la novela es Montag, un bombero. En esta historia el trabajo de los bombmeros es el de quemar libros, en vez de apagar incendios. Después de leer la novela, trabajamos en grupos formados por sorteo. Mi grupo se conformaba por Valentina, Lara, Ivan y Roman. A cada grupo se le asignó un personaje de la novela. A nosotros nos toco Mildred, la esposa de Montag. En base a este personaje, hicimos un poster digital con "Canva" . Pusimos a la mujer palida porque Mildred era muy palida, la imagen de las pastillas porque Mildred era adicta a las pastillas para dormir. Ella estaba a favor de los bomberos y los que hacian. Hicimos una diseccion de hueso largode vaca  cortado latitudinalmente y observamos todas sus partes:

Esta es una presentacion sobre el sistema nervioso (sus partes, materia blanca, materia gris, etc.)    Hecho con Lourdes, Francisco y Florenci G.

Hicimos una precentacion sobre el Tratados de Tordesillas (Bulas, Tratado oceanico, Tratado africano), la espansion española y los viajes de exploracion desde Colon hasta Magallanes en "El Nuevo Mundo".

En el laboratorio, trabajamos con un encéfalo de vaca fresco para reconocer y describir sus estructuras y por analogía las del del hombre. El encéfalo es el Sistema Nervioso Central (S.N.C.), llamado así por ser órganos nerviosos protegidos por hueso (cráneo). Primero, lo describimos y vimos que: su superficie era suave y cubierta por tres membranas cerebrales llamadas meninges su superficie no era lisa, era irregular porque contenia circunvoluciones cerebrales (pliegues) para que quepa más materia gris en el cráneo su color era rosado por los vasos sanguíneos dentro Cara dorsal Cara dorsal Después, reconozimos las partes del encéfalo que se pueden distinguir en su  cara dorsal: Interior de la medula espinal     Tercero, con el bisturí cortamos la médula espinal para observar un orificio que es el conducto del epéndimo, el cual, en el, encéfalo se ensancha formando los ventrículos o cavidades internas. This is a one minute talk about the school:    Hello, my name is Mayra. I am a student at Newlands School. Not like in other schools, we spend 8 hours a day here, except for Saturdays and Sundays. In my opinion, it’s exhausting to be 8 hours at school and, even after, having to do homework at my house. We have 18 subjects. My favourite one is maths because everything makes sense in it. On the contrary, I hate sports because we do Hockey and I’m not good at it. Also, we can’t use any clothes we want at school, we have to use the uniform. Moreover, the school is bilingual, as a second language, we study English. This is because although it’s easy to communicate in our mother language, that alone is not enough in today’s world, and English is the most used language in the world.

In the Language class with Andrea, I made an animated video using the Powtoon app, with my friends Luna, Agustina and Sofia. This animation is based on a story of our book that we read in class, called "First Day At The Village School" by Laurie Lee. This story is about a boy that had never gone to school, but one day, his sisters forced him. It narrates what happens on his first day.

In Language class with Andrea; Letter: ...we wrote a letter back to an imaginary English-spoken friend who recently stayed with me and I had to write him back:  Dear David,  No problem! I also liked being with you all the week.Today, at dinner, my mom prepared food for four people instead of three because she got used to you.    It's good that you enjoyed your stay. Although we've been to lots of places, there are a lot more to see. What do you think of coming for longer next time? Besides, if you come again we could take the bus with a guide that you wanted to go!   I would love to get those photos. I have some more photos, I'll send hem my mail to you. Which was your e-mail?    It would be awesome to stay with you an entire week.
