Signs of Love


As the quarterly of Drama, we did a short film about a deaf girl, called Rose. She meets a Peter, a very nice boy who helps her to stop isolating from the world. Its main genres are love and isolation. We choose to make a "Theatre in education" type of play and the drama elements that we include according to that type of play were:

  • A clear aim and educational objective
  • Multi-rolling
  • Simple and representational costumes, especially for the actors who have to multi-role
  • Facts to educate the audience
  • A strong message
  • Breaking the fourth wall by asking live questions at the end of the play like:
  1. What more could the teachers do to help Rose? 
  2. How could the girl in the café ask the chair kinder?
  3. How did Peter’s kindness change Rose?
  4. What do you think about how the biker treated her?

La profesora de practicas del lenguaje nos pidió que a partir de unas oraciones desordenadas y sin puntuación debíamos organizarlo en cuatro párrafos y puntuarlo    Los feltios, habitantes del planeta Felt, han desarrollando una importante actividad artística.    Entre los feltios, el arte del canto (cuyo origen se remonta a los comienzos de esta civilización) tiene una gran importancia. Las mas antiguas de las canciones conservadas eran interpretadas exclusivamente por un coro femenino. Pero ya en épocas del Segundo Imperio se impuso el gusto por las composiciones para coros mixtos y solistas. Para acompañar sus cantos los feltios solo emplean instrumentos de viento. El mas apreciado de todos ellos, por la especial calidez de su sonido, es una especie de flauta que los artesanos fabrican con los tallos de una planta llamada ranzmel (ranz: caña, mel: cantora).     Desde tiempos inmemoriales, el teatro ha sido cultivado por todas las tribus del Felt.
